Hello and welcome! My name is Luke Badaczewski; I am a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and specialize in supporting teens, young adults, and families as they navigate the complexities of life—from anxiety and depression to major life transitions.
I believe that the challenges we face do not define us. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed perspective, which means I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where we can explore how your past experiences may be impacting your present.
I am a firm believer in a strengths-based approach to healing. Often, we come to therapy focusing on what feels “broken,” but I believe that what is “right” with you is actually the key to solving what feels “wrong.” By identifying and amplifying your inherent strengths, we can work together to build resilience and find a path forward that feels authentic to you.
I view therapy as a collaborative partnership. My goal is to foster a warm, authentic working relationship where you feel heard and valued. Clinically, I utilize an integrated approach, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). These evidenced-based frameworks allow us to develop practical, goal-oriented tools to help you overcome obstacles and move toward the life you want to lead.
Before becoming a therapist, I served as a farm and camp director, which deeply shaped my belief in the power of the natural world. Today, I view nature as a vital tool for healing and grounding. In my own life, I find balance and self-care through running, biking, hiking, and gardening. I am happy to incorporate this “nature-informed” lens into our work—whether that means offering “walk and talk” sessions or helping you find ways to use the outdoors as a tool for your own wellness.
I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your journey toward growth and connection.
