Hello! My name is Destinee Schulz, a kind and compassionate therapist with a love for people. My warm approach to therapy and to people has allowed me to promote a healing environment conducive for any age range. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medical Neuroscience from Moravian University, and obtained my Masters in Clinical Counseling from Moravian University as well! I spent my internship in community mental health, working with anyone and everyone!
I specialize in Obsessive Complusive Disorder, LGBTQIA+ issues, Geek Therapy and Trauma Informed Therapy. I offer a safe and supportive environment for all age ranges, working with children, young adults, and adults. I use evidence based models for therapy, and utilize positive psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Person Centered Therapy.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I firmly believe that each person is unique, and I tailor therapy goals to fit you. We’ll collaborate on what you’d like to achieve, and build on your strengths to develop new skills that support your growth outside of the therapy space.
A fun fact about me: I’m a big fan of video games and all things anime—I proudly embrace my nerdy side! I also love to unwind with a good book.
